FormFast has traditionally provided document automation
and workflow for MEDITECH MAGIC and Client/Server hospitals.
We offer MAGIC consulting services along with several
MAGIC application programs which do not compete with
MEDITECH. There are well over 100 installations of MEDITECH

FormCentral
FormCentral is the MAGIC equivalent of FormFast. It
shares the same Wysiwyg design tool for easy creation
of form templates which are then uploaded to the MAGIC
operating system. On the MAGIC operating system, our
program modules can reside on any segment, from which
they can directly access MEDITECH databases and print
directly to MEDITECH defined printers.
As opposed to functioning as a middleware, such as our
client server products, FormCentral is completely integrated
into the MAGIC operating system. Full output management
is enabled for all departments and there is a MAGIC
FormImprint module for nursing. While both the client
server and the MAGIC FormCentral product can serve a
MEDITECH MAGIC customer, most have chosen FormCentral
due to ease of installation and support on a platform
which is extremely stable and requires no knowledge
of network topology.
MAGIC
Capital Budget Software
This application manages the complete capital budget
request process on the MEDITECH MAGIC Platform and is
divided into two phases. In the first phase, functions
permit users to submit and manage requests for capital
equipment. The second phase governs the process of managing
the current budget as approved items are purchased.
